Evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment to patients. Create individual treatment plans for each patient. Assist patients to walk, sit, stand, and transport them via wheelchair, if necessary. Supervise and teach aides and students on clinical rotations.
Graduate of an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Current license to practice in the state of California
Experience in an outpatient clinic is helpful but NOT REQUIRED. Mentoring/training will be provided.
Provide treatment to patients through exercise, massage, and other therapeutic interventions. Follow individualized care plans for each treatment and collaborate with the physical therapist to contribute suggestions. Assist patients to walk, sit, and stand, and transport them via wheelchair, if necessary. Encourage and motivate patients to participate in the treatment program by discussing and explaining their treatment goals and objectives.
Current Physical Therapist Assistant License (PTA). California State license.
